About

Losing a sibling, parent, spouse, child, or close friend to suicide is a devastating experience. The grief following a loved one’s death by suicide is often complicated by shame, guilt and feelings of social isolation. Sharing stories and supporting others who’ve experienced a similar loss to one’s own can be a very powerful part of the healing process.

Support Each Other is an open, in-person bereavement support group for individuals who’ve lost a loved one to suicide.

The group usually meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:30 pm EST. Our meeting location is the Parlor room at Second Congregational Church in Greenwich, Connecticut. Directions are here.

We have been meeting ON-LINE via Zoom since 2020 and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Suicide Survivors from anywhere in the world are free to attend. Just send us an email first.

The group is facilitated by fellow survivors of suicide loss. We are not therapists, professional counselors, or members of the clergy.

There is no fee to attend the group and there is no obligation to attend more than one session. You must be over the age of 18, and though you are free to drop in unannounced, we would prefer it if you contact us before your first meeting.
